Bourne Children
& Youth Initiative
The Bourne Children & Youth Initiative provides
recreational youth clubs for 8 year olds upwards and gives a service
for those over 14 who have problems.
It is financed from several sources, including Waverley and the
Surrey Youth Service. The Initiative has a qualified youth worker
and there are about 35 volunteers helping to run the clubs on
a regular basis. One of the leaders is from St. Joan's, and we
have a parishioner on the management committee.
