A variety of activities take place each year to bring parishioners together, to celebrate special occasions and to raise money for different causes. We usually have a Christmas Bazaar and a parish day in June. Help for these events and ideas for new activities are always welcome. Volunteers are needed for teas and catering for a wide variety of parish occasions. Such appeals are usually well advertised in the news letter! Please

was completed at the end of 2007 and was officially opended by Bishop
Kiernan in April 2008. It is now available for bookings. Click

Parish Walks take place from time to time in the lovely surrounding countryside and all are welcome to join. It's a good way to get to know fellow parishioners! We hope to vary the length and types of walk - rambles, hikes, gentle strolls - to cater for everyone! Look out for details in the newsletter. If you would be happy to lead a walk we would be delighted to hear from you. Please contact Sheila Thorpe by e-mail. At the back of St Joan's Church on the left as you enter is a small shop. Here you can buy religious articles, cards and books. Useful for Baptisms, Holy Communion and Confirmation greetings and gifts. This repository is run by Julie Crowley.
