The Sunday Luncheon Club was formed in January 1995 to bring
together members of our community who live alone whether they are
students or senior citizens. The lunches are held on 7 Sundays of
the year at 12.15 pm in St Joan's Hall. Dates for the lunches are
announced the the Sunday newsletter.
If you live alone and would enjoy good company and good home cooking,
then come along and bring a friend. The current price is £4.00
per head.
The committee are always looking for more volunteers
to help with the organising, washing up, cooking and offering transport.
Please e-mail
Miss Mervyn Thompson if you would be willing to help.

Monday to Friday Club
Eileen Beeson runs the Monday to Friday Club independently
of the Parish and in the past we have supported this veture. The
club supports vulnerable local people. Contact Eileen by e-mail.
The parish supports Creative Response, an
Arts initiative for people with mental health problems.
Home Visits
We have home visiting teams calling on house bound parishioners
and others. Contact Ann Gee by e-mail
Chaplaincy
We provide visitors to members of the parish who are inpatients
at Farnham Hospital. Please contact Sheila Potter by e-mail
to let her know the names of parishioners who are in Farnham Hospital.
It is especially important to keep in contact with members of
our parish family when they are not able to come to Mass
What is ARCAID?
It is a small, independent overseas aid charity, based in the Catholic
Parish of St. Joan of Arc, Farnham, Surrey. It was founded in 1989.

The Association for the Propagation

The APF is active in the parish. Many parishioners
have red collecting boxes in their homes. A good way to dispose
of loose change. These are emptied quarterly by a member of the
parish and a magazine detailing the work of the APF is delivered.
If you would like to help or have a box
Contact: Sallie Wheater, APF Secretary by e-mail.

have lost a loved one in the past or present and feel the need to

Bereavement can be experienced in any of
the following situations: Death of Spouse, family member or close
friend; Separation, Divorce, Miscarriage, Serious Illness, Loss
