First Holy Communion & Reconciliation
A group of volunteers
Catechist prepare the children for First Holy Communion and
the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The preparation is
carried out in 3 parts:
- 9.15 am Mass each month (January - June)
- Hour long sessions with catechists in
groups of 6-8 children.
- Homework and reinforcement at home with
parents.

Confirmation
Following the Diocesan Programme, those who
have completed their fourteenth year (usually year 9 at school)
are confirmed by the Bishop after a preparation programme
organised by the Parish Catechists, Clare McKinley. E-mail.
Preparation for Marriage
Anyone wishing to get married should give
six months notice to the priest, before the date proposed
for the marriage. This allows enough time for the necessary
paper work and attendance at an Engaged Couples Course. Phone

Communion for the Sick
If you are unable to get out to Church please
let one of the priests know and we will arrange to visit you
at home. If you know a parishioner in hospital, please let
